Today it is a medical term for those random belly noises that rumble around inside your abdomen. I like this word because when you say it you can imagine that it resembles the sounds it describes.

you've gotta love it when the word looks like it sounds
I know there is a name for those words as well - sound like what they describe. Must get on the hunt for that to share.
