Living Arrangements

At long last I've unpacked a few of my familiar, favourite things. Yes, I'm a glass nut.

With friend Terry's aid this got re-arranged last week - the computer desk against the outside wall; tv and stereo on the common wall; lamp toward the kitchen wall.

The torchiere lamp was a bargain from 'the evil empire', aka Walmart. The multi photo frame below it is from the Cdn version of the evil empire - Zellers.

Two months and counting since I moved; one day I'll be settled, I'm sure.

When they are talking cheap, they're talking my language.

Keep your eyes and ears open, L: I'm looking again. Local would be nice but I'm open to the city. Money talks a language of it's own.

i adore the glass ornaments
is that a dandelion puff in one of them?

and the artwork on the wall is intriguing - is it done in pastels?

Hiya Kel - That's another, larger sort of weed called milkweed - same idea tho. It's encased in plexi not glass.

The artwork - they're actually photo's. I was going to do a post on them but wanted to gather the proper info in order to give credit. Gotta get my camera and computer talking properly, too. (Apparently - see next post)

Hi Kel - I posted that last comment just as I was about to go to bed and evidently had a brain cramp. Milkweed totally different -seedlets tumbling from a pod, floating away on the wind.

Can't recall the name of this one; how about 'incredibly tall dandelion and leave it go for now so I can stop babbling' weed.

Evil Empire - where do you suppose I picked that up?? When social historians want know the origin of that phrase I want the breadcrumbs to lead in your direction.
